Gustavo Benzecry Sabá

Gustavo Benzecry Sabá was born in Buenos Aires. He studied with milongueros and stage teachers. He has 20 years of experience as a teacher and tango dancer (in Argentina he taught at Canning, among many other milongas in Buenos Aires) and he has been around for 14 years on international tours (mainly in the United States and Europe). He wrote several books about tango dance, translated into different languages, and collaborates with tango magazines in Buenos Aires and other countries. He is also the author of an instructional DVD of leaders techniques and two documentaries: “The Golden Years” and “The History of the Embrace in Tango Dance”.

Luciana Guido

Luciana Guido was born in Buenos Aires. She studied with maestros milongueros and later  techniques for women with many tango teachers. She taught at the “Escuela de Tango de Buenos Aires” and for a year and half, in Paris. Much of her international career as a teacher and dancer was developed in Europe. Due to her interest in popular culture, she took the postgraduate course “Social and Political History of the Argentine Tango” (FLACSO Virtual, 2014). She was recently co-director of the thesis “Barrio de tango, luna y misterio …”, based on the relationship between the neighborhood and tango lyrics.
